Pueblo Zoo CO

Pueblo Zoo is a 30-acre zoo located in Pueblo, Colorado in the United States. The zoo is open year-round and is home to over 420 animals of more than 140 species. The Pueblo Zoological Society manages the zoo, which is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

On July 23, 2016, a team of (5) from PEIVDF returned to the Pueblo Zoo to work on two of their African painted dogs.  Between the two patients, the team performed (4) root canal therapies, and (2) extractions.

On March 4, 2012, a team of (8) doctors and technicians conducted our first mission to the Pueblo Zoo.  Nine patients were treated, including (2) mini horses, a meerkat, (2) river otters, a Lar Gibbon, a pigmy goat, a donkey, and a sun bear.  It was a busy day for the team, who performed (5) root canal therapies, (18) extractions, (6) other oral surgeries, and (3) teeth were floated.  The team at Pueblo Zoo were so efficient, we were able to complete our work in one day.
