CARE Rescue TX

PEIVDF recently visted CARE Rescue (formerly Big Cat Care) in Bridgeport, TX on January 28-30, 2011 to work on Rasa, a female Bengal tiger in need of root canal therapy and a crown reduction in order to effect occlusal equilibration. Two of poor Rasa’s canines had grown crooked, with one causing soft tissue damage,

Tinkerbell, another female Bengal tiger, required root canal therapy on two teeth, and unfortunately two teeth could not be saved and needed to be extracted – always a last resort, as far as PEIVDF is concerned.

During this one-day mission, a new Tuition for Missions student joined PEIVDF clinicians and volunteers.
